Return Policy for Equipment Rentals – Camera Rental Lagos

1. Equipment Inspection Before Pickup

All customers must inspect the equipment upon pickup to ensure it is in good working condition. An invoice detailing the rented items will be provided, serving as mutual acknowledgment of the equipment’s condition at the time of handover.

2. Rental Period and Extensions

A single rental day is defined as a period of 10 hours. Renters are required to return the equipment on time. A refundable deposit equal to 50% of the daily rental rate will be charged. This deposit will be forfeited if the equipment is returned late. Overdue returns will incur penalties as per the agreed terms. If the equipment is not returned within 3 hours after the initial 10-hour period, an additional rental day will be charged.

3. Equipment Care and Condition Upon Return

Renters must handle all rented equipment with care. Any equipment returned in a damaged state will require repair or replacement at the renter’s expense. This includes ensuring that all accessories and components are returned in their original condition.

4. Responsibility for Damage or Loss

Renters assume full responsibility for any equipment that is damaged, lost, or stolen while in their possession. In the case of theft, renters will be required to replace the equipment or pay its current market value.

5. Post-Return Inspection

Once the equipment is returned, our team at Camera Rental Lagos will conduct a thorough inspection to verify its condition. Depending on the volume of equipment rented, this process may take between 3 to 6 hours. Renters will be notified of any issues identified during the inspection.

6. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled rental time. Cancellations within 12 hours of the rental period are not permitted, and any associated fees will not be refunded.

7. Disputes

To address potential disputes regarding equipment condition, renters are encouraged to document the condition of the equipment (e.g., by taking photographs) before pickup. Any concerns must be raised before leaving the premises with the rented items.
